Philadelphia Blind Hockey to Host the 2026 Blind Hockey Classic

Philadelphia Blind Hockey is excited to welcome the Blind Hockey community to the Philadelphia region for the 2026 Blind Hockey Classic, hosted by the Atlantic Amateur Hockey Association and presented by the Gaudreau Family Foundation in honor of John and Matty Gaudreau as the local host taking place November 20–22, 2026, at the Flyers Training Center in Voorhees, New Jersey.

The Blind Hockey Classic is an exciting opportunity to showcase the skill, determination, and passion of athletes who are blind or partially sighted. The weekend will bring together players, families, coaches, volunteers, and supporters from across the Blind Hockey community for a celebration of hockey and inclusion.

Hosting the Classic is an important milestone for Philadelphia Blind Hockey. Since its founding, PBH has worked to create opportunities for athletes who are blind or visually impaired to learn, play, and compete in hockey. Bringing a national Blind Hockey event to the Philadelphia region allows PBH to build on that mission while introducing even more people to the sport.

The tournament will also provide an opportunity for the Philadelphia hockey community to come together. Volunteers, coaches, hockey organizations, families, and fans will have the chance to experience Blind Hockey firsthand and see the athletes compete at a high level.

For Philadelphia Blind Hockey, hosting the 2026 Blind Hockey Classic is about more than a weekend of hockey. It is an opportunity to grow the game, expand awareness of Blind Hockey, create meaningful competitive opportunities for athletes, and demonstrate that hockey truly can be a sport for everyone.
