1st Annual Blindness Awareness 3 vs 3 Tournament

Philadelphia Blind Hockey will be hosting their first annual 3 vs. 3 Blindness Awareness Hockey Tournament. This will be a tournament style game with players of all ages under visual stimulation. These simulators demonstrates examples of the four major underlying eye diseases that cause Low Vision: macular degeneration, diabetic retinopathy, cataracts, and glaucoma. Along with these simulators, players will also be under blindfold. Stay tuned for more information!

Where: Hatfield Ice

Time: Doors open at 5:30 PM

6:00-8:00 PM

*Games starting at 6:10

Admission is $5

We will be having 9 local high school teams competing under low vision stimulation. They are Central Bucks South, Father Judge, Haverford, Holy Ghost Prep, Malvern Prep, North Penn, Penncrest, Pennridge and Springfield.

Along with the 3 vs 3 games, we also will be having raffle baskets, 50/50s, activities you can participant under low vision stimulation, vendors and more!

At the event we will be selling program books. We are currently looking for advertisers for the book. There are several options available:

  • Player Shout-Outs,

  • Business card (horizontal or portrait),

  • 1⁄4 Page, 1⁄2 Page and Full Page Ads, and

  • Inside Front or Back Cover (This option is first come, first served basis).

As a thank you for your patronage all full page, 1⁄2 page, 1⁄4 page and business card sponsors will be advertised on the tournament page on our website, as well as on the back of our tournament t-shirt. See the attached advertising agreement for specifics on ad sizes. Ads and player shout-outs will be due no later than September 29th.
